The Jacksonville Board of REALTORS® wanted to create a non-profit foundation dedicated to enhancing housing opportunities, providing emergency disaster relief, and providing grants to nonprofits that help low and moderate-income families with their needs in our community.
We formed our nonprofit in late 2023, and are continuing to craft and create a vibrant nonprofit foundation that helps its neighbors with all things housing.
Through strategic partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders, we are able to maximize our impact and reach those who need our assistance the most. Whether it’s providing financial support for affordable housing initiatives, offering resources for homelessness prevention, or lending a helping hand in times of disaster, we are here to offer support and hope to those facing adversity.
The Foundation has a REALTOR Relief Fund for JBOR members to apply for when they have suffered a significant personal loss such as, but not limited, to an illness or impact of a natural disaster.
These funds can help with medical costs, and/or day-to-day financial assistance if unable to work.
Through strategic partnerships, fundraising efforts, and the dedication of our volunteers, we are able to offer a range of services and resources to support our community members. From financial assistance to educational programs, we strive to empower individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
